ITINERARY:

Day-1 Cheenai Arrival-  Kalahasthi- Kanchipuram. Arrive at Chennai. Travel to Kalahasthi in Andhra Pradesh (120 kms/ 3 hrs). Visit Sri Kalahasthi temple (one of the 5 Panch Bhoot temples- Lord Shiva is said to manifest here in the form of Air. The Shivling is known as "Vayu Lingam"). Later, transfer to Kanchipuram (130 kms/ 3 hrs). O/n at Kanchipuram.

(Note: Srikalahasti is only 35 kms from Tirupati. Guests who want darshan of Lord Balaji, they can extend their stay for 2 nights at Tirupati)

Day-2 Kanchipuram- Thiruvannamalai- Chidambaram Visit Ekambareswarar Temple ( one of the five Panch Bhoot Shiva temples- Lord Shiva is said to manifest here in the Earth form. The Shivling is known as "Prithvi Lingam"). Also, visit Kamakshi Amman Temple (a Shakti Peetha). Later, proceed to Thiruvannamalai (120 kms/ 2.5 hrs). Visit Arunachaleshwar Temple (a Panch Bhoot Temple-  Lord Shiva is said to manifest here in the Fire form. The Shivling is known as "Agni / Jyothi Lingam"). Lord Shiva is said to appear here in his Ardhnarishwar form. Travel to Chidambaram (150kms/ 3 hrs)  O/n at hotel in Chidambaram.

Day-3 Chidambaram- Trichy . Visit Thillai Nataraja Temple (a Panch Bhoot Temple-  Lord Shiva is said to manifest here in cosmic dancer- Natraj form. The Shivling represents the Sky & is known as "Aagya/Akash Lingam"). Unlike other temples, Chidambaram temple does not have a physical stone Lingam. Proceed to Trichy (170 kms/ 3.5 hrs). Visit Jambukeshwar temple (a Panch Bhoot Temple-  Lord Shiva is said to manifest here in Water form. The Shivling is known as "Appu/Jambu Lingam").  O/n at hotel in Trichy.

Day-4 Departure Depart for onward journey. Tour ends
