ITINERARY:
Day-1 Cheenai Arrival- Tirupati. Travel uphill to Tirumala for the Balaji Temple Darshan. Arrive at Chennai. Travel to Tirupati (145 km/ 3hrs) Tirupati lies at the foothill Tirumala (22 kms), renowned for being the home of Tirupati Balaji Temple (Lord Vishnu), the most visited temple in India. (Kindly note that it may take several hours before guests can have Darshan of Lord Balaji). O/n at hotel in Tirupati.
(Note: in case, guests could not do darshan of Lord Balaji, they will have to stay uphills at Tirumala only. Own arrangements need to be made)
Day-2 Day free at leisure- Visit SriKalahasti Temple Visit SriKalahasti Temple 35 kms - 1 hour), renowned Lord Shiva Temples and one of the Five Panchbhoota Stalams of Lord Shiva. O/n at hotel in Tirupati.Day-3 Tirupati- Kanchipuram Proceed to Kanchipuram (110 kms/ 2 hrs). Visit Ekambareswarar Temple (180-foot high gopuram- one of the tallest in South India)- one of the five Panch Bhoot Shiva temples, 7th Century Kailasanatha Temple, 14th Century Kamakshi Amman Temple (a Shakti Peetha) and Varadharaja Perumal Temple.. O/n at hotel in Kodaikanal.
Day-4 Departure Depart for onward journey.
